The biggest difference between Spike and the competition is how the accessories connect to our equipment. The competition primarily uses weld-less fittings which use o-rings for making a water tight seal. We use couplers that have been physically welded to the kettle. These welds our done right here at our facility in Milwaukee, WI. We have mimicked techniques that are used on the professional scale and brought it to the home brew community. You will not find any weld-less fittings in a professional brewery and that's why we only sell kettles with welded fittings.

Our kettles and conicals also use the thickest metal on the market which is why we can confidently say, "You Liver Will Fail Before Our Equipment Does"! Our kettles and conicals also are 100% quality inspected. Most companies inspect a small percentage of the equipment going out the door (maybe 5-10%). Every single one of our kettles and conicals are thoroughly inspected by our QC team in our facility in Milwaukee.
