With each version of our Spike Trio systems, as well as with our Spike Nano System, you can upgrade your electrical panel to a double batch capable powerhouse. 

  • This upgrade allows you to use the heating elements in your boil kettle and hot liquor tank at the same time.
  • Our standard, single batch panel allows use of either the boil kettle elements or the hot liquor tank elements at one time, not simultaneously.

Benefits of the double batch panel? 

  1. Quicker cleaning after brew day. Start your cleaning water in your hot liquor tank during your boil so you are ready to CIP your system right away after chilling your wort.
  2. Brew back to back batches quickly! Start mashing your second beer while your first beer is boiling away!
